The VTC Sustainability Forum 2026, themed “Empowering Sustainability with AI”, took place on 2 June 2026 at the Digital Innovation Co-creation Centre, Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology. Officiated by Miss Diane Wong, JP, Under Secretary for Environment and Ecology, the Forum gathered more than 800 industry leaders, staff and students, sparking lively exchanges of ideas and fresh perspectives.
In her opening remarks, Miss Wong commended VTC’s ongoing efforts in carbon reduction and sustainability and emphasised the importance of cross‑sector collaboration. The Forum then showcased three inspiring keynote speeches and a dynamic panel discussion, "Harnessing Innovation for a Sustainable Future." Industry experts explored how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are transforming smart infrastructure and advancing sustainability.
VTC will continue to partner with the Government and industry to develop talent with digital skills and a sustainability mindset, supporting technology‑driven green transformation.
