Corporate Environmental and Sustainable Development Office (CESDO)

CESDO is dedicated to promoting and advancing sustainable development as well as workplace health and safety initiatives within the VTC. We aim to actively engage students and staff in cultivating a green, healthy and safe learning and working environment, in adherence to VTC’s commitment to supporting sustainability practices and enhancing the well-being of the VTC community.

Environmental Sustainability

Reducing resource consumption, enhancing energy management, utilising renewable energy, improving waste management and promoting sustainable design and operation of buildings to foster environmental sustainability

Green Campus Development

Advancing green campus development and sustainable practices through incorporating green solutions into building infrastructure, systems and facilities across campuses

Environmental Education and Promotion

Instilling a culture of sustainable awareness, behaviour and practices among students, staff and other stakeholders to empower environmental and sustainable development

Workplace Health and Safety

Ensuring safe working conditions, minimising health risks and accidents in the workplace, and enacting preventive measures with proper training to offer a safe and healthy environment for VTC staff and students
